Whoaa!

I AM BACK MOTH*******RS..

And yes I know there is not a soul who cares, but my inspiration and motivation is back like never before.
Also becuase of this I have accquired www.michaelmerrifield.com - temporary information site is online - and I am developing a entirely new concept for my portfolio.

On the personal side I am going to be a father again, my girlfriend is set to deliver in January so it is getting closer each day. Also I am playing counter-strike and World of Warcraft again, counter-strike on a regular basis.



This was just a little update from me, hope all is good out there.-!

Ohh what the heck, I could not resist the urge to open photoshop again and I suddenly got a lot of inspiration mixed by some of the people here on the lovely deviantArt and my thoughts at the moment..

So right now I am creating a design for my counter-strike team called "ups" (#ups on quakenet, come say hii) and I am working on a poster for a House event at a club here in Denmark..

Also it seems like ages since I last used my camera, but now I am using it on a daily basis and I LOOOVE it, I still enjoy photographing as much as I used to and I still do it for my own sake, not to be a professional.. With that in mind I am reading a lot of guides on the art of photographing at the moment, and I am also experimenting a lot with different settings and setups.

Hey there.

I dont know if anybody ever reads my journal entries, but here it goes.

I am taking a break from designing websites, graphics etc. to get back on track with my school and my routines in life. This means that I will eventually come back from this break, and it might be in 1, 2, 3 or 9 months who knows. All I know is that I need a break from all this "I-sit-here-from-early-afternoon-to-late-night" designing.

It has been a very long time since I posted an journal entry, it is nearly 6 months..

Since that time there has happened to much to tell here at one time, but for the time being I will tell the most significant things, and the rest you might be able to read about at my blog (www.michealrene.info)... In the past 6 months I have started my own media company called "CrossCom Media", we work across platforms to create stunning websites and graphics, at the moment we are 3 people:

Michael René Merrifield - Webdesigner, Graphics Designer, analytics, HTML editing
Sebastian Springer - Webdesigner, Graphics Designer, HTML editing
Simon Jo Chizeck Andersen - Client Services, Small design tasks

Also I am starting my education on the 11th of August, this is something that I am looking very much forward, I will be taking the course in Kolding, Denmark.. That also means that I have moved to Kolding, I now live with one of my best friends who is studying at the "Syddansk Universitet" (Southern danish university)..

My time is spent alot on playstation 3, nintendo wii and watching movies on the 50 inch plasma television (brag brag)...



I might be starting on .NET, ASP.NET, C# and Javascript soon, I hope this is something that I will be able to learn..

Also I would very much appreciate if there was a person who could learn me how to convert a journal design into a actual skin so it can be used...

And last but not least, if you know how to convert a finished design to a wordpress template, please be so kind to contact me as I would very much like to learn how to do.

WOW SHIT MAN!

There has happened so much since my last real entry... My ex-girlfriend left me in december, and since that day I have had some kind of design-block, but it is over now, so I'll take on some work now, contact me if you need a good "web designer/web graphics designer/html editor"...


So atm. I am living in Aarhus (denmark's seconds largest city) but tomorrow I will head for kalundborg to look at an appartment, this is very new to me and quite exciting. This mean that I might soon get my own place again WUHUUU!
